Terms & Conditions

of bookings at Summit Views Accommodation:

Please Note: 

Pre Arrival Detail are sent via email a day or so prior to arrival: You must read and acknowledge these via return email.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the Guest hereby indemnifies the Manager/Owner in respect of any and all liability (as listed below) and accepts all responsibility for cost  arising from any injury or damage suffered as a direct or indirect consequence of the occupancy by the Guest of the property.

Payment and Cancellation Policy:

Payment of Deposit or Full amount for Summit Views Accommodation indicates acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. 

A bond of $400 is required and will be charged to your credit card with the cost of the stay. The bond will be refunded to your Credit Card after inspection of the property on the day of departure.

If more than 30 days notice is given, or the confirmation has been received for less than 2 days, then rescheduling or cancellation of booking is permitted.  

Rescheduling of a booking within 30 days is strictly subject to rebooking. No refund will be given if it can not be rebooked.

Cancellations within 30 days of arrival require full payment (No Refund), unless the property can be re booked and will incur a $100 fee.

Reservation balance for non online bookings will be charged to your credit card up to 4 days prior to arrival unless otherwise arranged.

By making payment, you have an exclusive licence to occupy the property for the days specified (but not possession).

No Smoking/Damage-Loss/Cleaning/Policy:  

SKYVIEW AND EAGLE NEST:

Smoking is not permitted inside the apartments, even if you have the doors open. Smoking is permitted on the balcony's.

Please take shoes off inside. Dirty carpets will result in additional charges.

A charge of $400 to remove smell from furniture upholstery, drapes, carpets and rugs etc, will be charged to your credit card on departure day if detected.

While we do not charge for minor accidental damage or normal wear and tear, the total cost to replace, repair damage or loss in the apartment, building or gardens will be charged to  your credit card accordingly; including such items as towelling bleached/dyed/marked by health & beauty care products and linen that is marked with massage oils or tanning products etc.

Standard cleaning services on your departure day are included in the tariff. Guests are expected to leave the apartment in a neat and tidy state without the need for excessive cleaning. You are responsible for all cleaning charges in the event that the property is left in a state that requires more than standard cleaning.

If made available, BBQ's must be cleaned and left as found. If uncleaned $50 will be charged to your Credit Card.

For security reasons, lost key/tag for Eagle Nest will be charged at the replacement cost of a new lock mechanism.

Eagle Nest Apartment - The RCI smart remote replacement cost is $900. Please do not use these in  the spa for the spa side TV. Use the bathroom wall key pad or prior to entering the bathroom and getting into the spa, use the Foxtel remote if in the lounge room or one of the 2 RCI remotes in the lounge or bedroom to select your viewing criteria. If moisture is detected in them you will be charged. Please do not place the Gas Log Fire remote on top of the gas log fire, you will be charged $500 for the replacement if they are found to have melt damage to the casing.

Summit Views is not liable for loss to you for any personal belongings while you are in the property. If personal items are left behind please send a reply paid envelope/package in order for us to return the items.

The Guest must provide all the necessary details of a current credit card with an available limit of not less than $1000 to cover any unpaid charges including but not limited to any  missing or damaged items (such as herein detailed) on and within the  property. The Guest hereby acknowledges and accepts responsibility for all charges (including but not limited to the cost of the replacement of missing, damaged or broken items or property, insurance premium excesses and additional cleaning) and agrees and authorizes the Manager/Owner to apply any charges in accordance with these terms and  conditions against the credit card provided. Should any charges be unable to be processed against the credit card for any reason  whatsoever, the Guest agrees to make payment to the Manager/Owner within 7 days of any such request for payment.

(A small amount of kindling is supplied, please use it wisely, we will not supply more).

In House Rules:

The number of guests staying is restricted to the couple indicated on the confirmation notification or online booking and in the event that other non authorized guests are found to  stay at the property we have the right to terminate the booking without refund or alternative accommodation provided.

No Pets or Children or other guests, including daytime visitors allowed unless arranged and agreed to personally with Andrew.

Guests are expected to behave in a manner that does not cause disruption to others staying at the property's apartment. Sound proofing between apartments removes normal voice but LOUD TV's and HEAVY WALKING is annoying. WALK SOFTLY! BE RESPECTFUL! YOUR FELLOW GUESTS WILL APPRECIATE IT.  

Noise level must not be audible from neighbouring properties from 10pm to 8am. We reserve the right to remove guests who do not comply and no refunds or alternative accommodation will be given or provided.

The use of candles is strictly prohibited, unless they are in a semi sealed container specifically designed for candle use.

The place of law is Victoria and the courts of Victoria have exclusive jurisdiction.
